Description from record TQ 84 NW 46 :
Farmhouse listed grade 2, 16th century or earlier with later additions and alterations. Mid-Late 19th century facade. Timber-framed, plain tile roof, 2 storeys. Barn, 4m E, early-mid 19th century. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, hipped, plain tile roof. Listed grade 2. Barn, 20m NE. Late 18th century, timber-framed, weatherboarded on low brick plinth. Hipped plain-tile roof. Listed grade 2. Recent lean-to additions, part of adaption to workshop use? Oasthouse, 5m NW of Great Tong. 19th century, small blocks coursed stone (Bethersden marble) with brick dressings to stowage. Kilns red brick in Flemish bond, plain tile roof. Listed grade 2. Barn attached to rear of oasthouse, dating to 1817. Further 19th century outhouses- 3 barns and a wagon shed. (1)

Farmhouse. C16 or earlier, with later additions and alterations. Mid-to-late C19 facade. Timber framed. Ground floor chequered red and grey brick in Flemish bond, banded plain and fishscale tiles to first floor. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Roof hipped with gablets. Slender projecting stack to left end. 2 rear stacks towards centre and brick ridge stack towards right end. Irregular fenestration of 8 sashes; six 6-pane and two 2-pane (5 grouped towards centre). 2 canted bays to ground floor with ogee leaded roofs, and three 6-pane sashes. Central half-glazed and panelled door with flat bracketed hood. Rear lean-to to left. Rear wing towards right, with multiple brick ridge stack. Interior not inspected, but said to contain smoke bay.
