The following text is from the original listed building designation:
YALDING HIGH STREET TQ 6950 (east side) 6/129 Barn about 10 metres south of south transept of Church of St. Peter and St. Paul GV II
Barn. Probably C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. 3 or 4 timber-framed bays, facing south. Roof hipped to west (left), half-hipped to east. Central double doors. Interior not inspected, but curved braces of relatively heavy scantling visible in north wall.

Watching brief on adjacent site to the west, carried out in April 2004, found nothing of archaeological significance. (1)
