Findspot record TQ 65 SE 88 - Broken ragstone rubble and gravestone fragments found during renovation of the Barn, The Elms, Yalding
Summary
During conversion work at the Barn, a large heap of ragstone rubble and broken grave stone fragments was removed. Archaeologists on a nearby watching brief identitfied and recorded two late 18th century foot stones and a complete head stone, dated 1703. All of these fragments were photographed and returned to the church for safe keeping.
