Monument record TQ 87 NW 13 - Possible Romano-British occupation layer, Allhallows-on-Sea
Summary
A Romano-British occupation layer was identified at the foot of the 'cliff' on the foreshore in 1966. Subsequent examinations of the area failed to provide any conclusive evidence of this. The site was more recently identified during a survey of the north Kent coast by Wessex Archaeology in 2002.
