Farmhouse. Possibly C15 or early C16, with C17 alterations and C19 facade. Timber framed, with brick infilling. Main range rendered on ground floor, tile-hung above. Wing clad with red and grey brick to ground floor, C19 red brick in Flemish bond to first floor. Broadly-spaced studding with brick infilling to rear. Plain tile roof. Possibly open hall of 2 unequal- length bays. Cross-wing to left projecting forwards slightly (with under- built jetty?). 2 storeys. Steeply-pitched hipped roof with gablets. Wing roof hipped to front. Multiple brick ridge stack to junction of hall and wing (in narrower left end bay of hall?). Slender brick stack to left gable end. Irregular fenestration of one 3-light casement to first floor of wing and one 6-pane fixed light to ground floor of main range. Boarded door with segmental head to ground floor of wing and to front of right gable end, and blocked door to left end of main range, beneath stack. Lean-to to left. Interior: only partly inspected. Exposed framing. C17 axial beam to right ground-floor room, possibly inserted. Formerly known as Stowting Court Farm.
