The following text is from the original listed building designation:
RAMSGATE ST. AUGUSTINE'S ROAD TR 3764 SE (north side) 18/372 Nos. 3 and 4 and railed Areas. GV II House pair. 1840's. Stock brick in part rendered with slate roof. Three storeys and basement with rusticated base and parapet and stacks to left, centre and right. Four sashes on 2nd floor with gauged heads, and 2 two storey canted bays with sashes. Panelled doors to right of bays with rectangular fanlights surrounds with keystones and flights of 6 steps. Sashes and half-glazed doors to basements. Fleur de lys railings with acanthus decoration to side piers to steps.
