Findspot record TQ 96 SW 52 - Iron Age `A' pottery find

Summary

A pit containing potsherds described as being of the "Halstatt period" was found during brickearth extraction some time prior to 1932. The sherds, some of which are in Maidstone Museum, are probably Iron Age, though a Late Bronze Age date cannot be entirely ruled out without examination of them.
