Full Description
Late Middle Pleistocene (MIS7 or MIS9) ostracod remains were abundant in deposits seen in a test-pit (TP 1) dug for the Medway Valley Palaeolithic Project in July 2005 (1, 2, 3). The deposits were interpreted as estuarine. Occasional foraminifera were also present at one horizon, and scarce molluscs.
