Summary
An isolated circular pit (27cm deep) with heat reddened sides down to 2-3 cm was found at Five Oak Lane. It contained charcoal layers, but there were no finds in the fill. Radio-carbon testing gave a date range of charcoal at AD 1030 to 1210.
