Full Description
A watching brief carried out in 2002/3 at the Lenham Community Centre development found a shallow Roman pit and two undated features. The pit was sealed by a layer containing a bronze minim dating to c. AD 350 and fragments of tile. The pit was 0.7 m wide by 0.15 m deep. The two other features may have been ditches or pits but were found only in section.(1)
