Full Description

A geophysical survey and trial trench in 2007 carried out by the Lenham Archaeological Society found a horseshoe-shaped anomaly and evidence of three parallel ditches in Sutton Field, Lenham. A piece of 16thC glass may suggest that the ditches are of this date but more excavation and finds are needed to prove this or otherwise . (1)
