Monument record TQ 55 NW 111 - Magnetometry features including a large enclosure and several circular features, Sevenoaks Quarry
Summary
In 2006 a magnetometry survey carried out in advance of the proposed extension to Sevenoaks Quarry found an area of dense magnetic anomalies. The largest seemed to be an enclosure, possibly late prehistoric in date and c. 70m in diameter. Within this were several smaller circular anomalies (round houses?) and numerous pit-like features (cluster 'E')
