Full Description

Small group of gullies and pits, with late Iron Age/Early Roman pottery, Little Langley,

3 gullies contained two small sherds of pottery dated to the Late Iron Age/ Early Roman period.

2 other gullies enclosed a group of 3 small pits or postholes (all c.75cm-1m wide, and c.30cm deep). All contained small amount of pottery dated to the Late Iron Age/ Early Roman period.

160g of pottery in total from at least 5 vessels.

Small amount of slag found in one of the pits.

Fourth posthole beyond the easternmost gully. (1)
