Monument record TQ 67 SW 463 - Medieval Dene holes - A2 Pepperhill to Cobham widening scheme

Summary

Several dene holes formed a cluster at the western end of site. These north east dene holes included an odd crescentic example with an apparent ramp leading down into it. The Crescentic dene hole produced a mixture of residual prehistoric and Roman material along with post-Medieval items.
