Monument record TR 06 SW 43 - Iron Age ditch system, Oare

Summary

A system of late Iron Age ('Belgic') ditches were found in 1968 near the Old Vicarage, Oare. They contained abundant oyster shells and pottery sherds, the pottery being dated to not later than 20AD. A single worn radiate coin was found, dated to around 270AD.
