Camp E of the Wrotham (Vigo) Second World War Pre-Officer Cadet Training Unit, Daniel Chambers area, Trosley Nr. Wrotham, Kent. It was one of 5 camps (see records for sites 10290-2) established from the summer of 1942 to provide basic military skills for all officer candidates prior to their attendance at officer training units for their selected or chosen corps. Details of the camp site are not yet known, but included training and accommodation huts and vehicle parks. The camp was abandoned in the summer of 1946 and buildings demolished in 1955. The site has not been visited in detail. (1)

The site was observedin a walkover survey in 2009. Foundations of the Wqorld War 2 Training camp were obsereved, as well as metalled tracks and other structures and features. (2)
