Full Description
Area F, south-west of High Halstow village, was a portion of the Grain-Shorne pipeline excavated in 2009.
There were few features in the area but the presence of subsoil across the site led to the conclusion that it was unlikely that ploughing had removed any other archaeological remains.
The earliest phase of activity, dating to the Neolithic/Bronze Age, was represented by three small pits up to 0.35m in diameter and 0.1m deep. (1-2)
