Monument record TQ 76 NE 433 - Prehistoric features including ditches, post holes and gullies, Sally Port Gardens, Chatham
Summary
During an evaluation in 2007 undated prehistoric features were found. These included a substantial ditch, at least 2.2m wide and 1.2m deep but not fully explored, a gully and a post hole. Worked flint and prehistoric pottery was recovered and probably dates to the Bronze Age or Iron Age.
