Full Description

A row of buildings was built on this site between 1776 and 1816. They were demolished in the early-mid 20th century.

A watching brief in 2009 recorded that the site had been terraced during the construction of these buildings. It also recorded two pits filled with debris dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, probably representing construction rubbish. The cellar and the foundations of some service rooms for the northernmost building of the row were also found. (1)
