Full Description

Excavations undertaken around the White Horse Stone site in the Medway Valley between Oct 1998-Mar 1999 by Oxford Archaeology. The site consisted of three areas along the CTRL line; from west to east: the ‘White Horse Stone site’, the ‘Pilgrim’s Way site’, and the ‘West of Boarley Farm site’.

A bridleway running N-S. One of only a few post-medieval activities - the others including a few pits and ditches following modern field boundaries. (1)
