Full Description
Archaeological evaluation undertaken by Archaeology South-East in Feb 2006 at the site of the former Veglios Hotel near Junction 6 of the M20.
Series of pits, most with a sterile fill but two with fragments of mid 18th - mid 19th century ceramic building material. Interpreted as being related to Brooklyn House, a post medieval house or farmstead with formal gardens. A linear cut orientated E-W contained several fragments of early post-medieval ceramic building material and a sheep phalange. (1)
