Monument record TQ 87 SW 89 - Medieval ditches, Kingsnorth

Summary

Two ditches were found during an evaluation in 2010. One contained medieval pottery.A subsequent strip, map and sample excavation discovered more than 100 features, mostly Roman or medieval in date, including a droveway and possible enclosure. Finds included loomweights and quernstones which indicate that industrial activity may have taken place.
