Full Description
During a watching brief and an evaluation on land at Bells Lane, Hoo St Werburgh in 2010, four ditches were found, two of which intersected at right angles, suggesting a possible field system. The ditches contained pottery that broadly dates from the Late Bronze Age and Middle Iron Age. Two post holes were also found. The area had been heavily truncated by ploughing. (1)
