Full Description
Geophysical survey carried out by Archaeology Services University of Durham in 2009 at the Kent International Gateway site. Though only revealing some of the buried archaeology on the site, the location of enclosures, pits, and traces of ridge and furrow were found.
Ditches, some of which probably represent enclosures. (1)
Subsequent evaluation found no archaeological traces for the eastern and middle sets of geophysical anomalies, but the western anomalies proved to be enclosure ditches of Mid-Late Iron Age date, though these were heavily truncated by ploughing. (2)
