Monument record TR 15 NE 106 - Tower
Summary
One of two semicircular towers thought to have been the work of Prior Sellinge (1472-94). This work formed part of a major phase of rebuilding andf strengthening of the Medieval city walls that took place at the end of the 15th century. This tower is to be found in that stretch of the city wall between Burgate and Northgate that later became the western boundary of the Monastery circa 1492-93.
