Full Description
A small excavation in advance of landscaping form a butterfly garden at 13-15 Bound Lane (TR 14735822 deduced from OS 1:1250 1971) located a well defined change of angle in the Roman and Medieval City Wall. The chalk and blockwork core and ragstone facing of the medieval wall of c1380 were exposed and will be incorporated in the forthcoming garden. (1)
