Full Description
Excavation undertaken by ASE in 2002-03 in Area 5, Brisley Farm, Ashford.
Relatively little was found in Areas 5 compared to the rest of the Brisley Farm site.
Bronze Age - Early Iron Age: A possible quarry for daub production, containing a lot of burnt clay and one small piece of slag. This may be indicative of wider industrial work nearby.
Mid-Late Iron Age: Parts of a segmented ditch.
Undated: numerous irregular cut features and a ditch. (1)
