Full Description
TR 237575. Over five ring ditches and a possible track, near Wingham Bridge. Aerial photo. (1)
Over five ring ditches and a possible track have been observed in aerial photographs over many years. In 2015 Cambridge University carried out a magnetometry survey at the site and revealed a complex landscape. This included one large ring ditch surrounded by at least 4 others. The large ring-ditch was later enclosed by two large square enclosures that cut one of the surrounding ring-ditches and has been suggested as Roman in date. (1-2)
