Full Description

[TR 29626818] Crop mark of ring ditch. (1) Cropmarks are under plough. There are no surface traces of the marks. (2-3) Photographs (4-13)

The cropmark remains of a large ring ditch with a diameter of 12.5m, probably a Bronze Age round barrow is visible on aerial photographs - HEA 29751/27 29-JUN-2015 and has been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The southern side of the ring ditch is obscured by a large circular pit (?chalk pit) which is cut into the feature (14).
