Full Description

[Centred TR 295680] Two parallel rows of small circular cropmarks and a linear marking, probably modern (?wartime installations). (1) Cropmarks are under plough. There are no surface traces of the marks. (2) TR 296681. Curvilinear feature with gap, small ring ditch at north end and six small ring ditches to south, also a line (?) of small rectangular pits. (3) Photographs (5-14)

The cropmarks of the multi-phase complex of features described by the previous authority have been recorded and mapped from aerial photographs - HEA 29844/20 20-APR-2016 and HEA 29751/27 29-JUN-2015 - as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. These features have been divided into separate child records of this parent record. (15-16).
