Monument record TR 26 NE 86 - Neolithic pit, Monkton

Summary

A pit containing Neolithic pottery was found during the construction of a gas pipeline to the north of Hoo, in 1984. The pit was found to contain shells, traces of charcoal, waste flakes, animal bone and pot sherds dating to the late Neolithic.
