Summary
An eroded pit or chalk quarry on the cliff tops at Grenham Bay revealed late Iron Age and Romano-British materials. The finds included potsherds, Samian sherds, sea shells, bones a small jar in a sand-tempered fabric and a Belgic beaded rim jar fragment.
