Full Description
Deeply buried Last Glacial palaeo-landsurface with two mint condition flint flakes, northeast quadrant of A2/ M25 junction (Link C), and dated to c. 100,000 BP by OSL. The buried landsurface was revealed at the south end of the long mitigation trench TP 8800, dug in 2006 as part of the archaeological programme in conjunction with improvement of the M25/ A2 junction (1,2).
