Abstract/Summary
A Post-excavation assesment of excavation work that took place in response to a improvement scheme on the A2/A282, involving test pitting and excavation, and a rapid widening scheme on the M25, involving a watching brief, test pitting and excavation. The results were wide ranging, from World War 2 anti-air emplacements to evidence of early human activity in the Pleistocene. The report assesses the research potential of the site archive and sets out an updated project design.
