Full Description
From the Archaeological Watching Brief Report of 27 Botany Road, Broadstairs, Kent by Trust for Thanet Archaeology:
The ditch was linear in plan, orientated approximately north west south east for 7.5 metres. At its south eastern end it turned aproximately 90 degrees for 1.5 metres, forming an 'L' shape. The ditch continued beyond the limit of the excavation at the north western and south western extents. The ditch measured between 0.8 - 1.1 metres wide along its full length. (1)
