Full Description
Late Bronze age pits found by an excavation that took place over a wide area ahead of road works at junction 2 of the A2/A282. A number of archaeological features were uncovered dating from the neolithic to modern (world war two) eras including a number of these pits. The pits in question have been dated to the late bronze age by the finds assemblages of pottery within. (1)
