Full Description
Circular features visible as cropmarks in the 1990 and 2008 aerial photos, to the north of Upchurch.
A double-ditched circular feature consists of an outer ditch of 8m diameter with a centrally-located inner ditch of 4m diameter. A possible round barrow?
Other curving features are possible to the immediate NE, 20m to the SW, and 30m to the E.
A possible trackway runs WNW-ESE south of the possible round barrow. Other linear features are probable field boundaries.
Suggested to be the site of Roman kilns.
