Full Description
A rectilinear enclosure visible as a cropmark in the 1999 aerial photos, to the SE of Worth.
The enclosure is trapeziodal in shape and roughly 60m x 45m, and is aligned 45 degrees to the cardinal points. A linear feature within the enclosure suggests either a partioning of the northern end or a second phase of activity. A further trapezoidal enclosure butts onto the east side of the enclosure, roughly 45m x 30m. There are hints of further ditches to the south. A smaller enclosure measuring 25m x 20m lies to the south, and butts onto a possible trackway. The trackway consists of two parallel ditches 20m apart, and runs in a NE-SW direction for 160m+.
See also possible trackway to the SW (TR 25 SE 838).
