Monument record TR 36 NE 124 - Early-medieval burials found in Ramsgate

Summary

Finds from Early-medieval burials in Ramsgate were given to Herne Bay Museum. One skeleton was of a woman, aged c. 35, another of a man aged 35-40 and two infants aged 6-7 months. There were associated grave goods including a small black accessory vessel, pottery sherds, and a piece of iron. In 1939 a grave with flint boulders under and round the head was reported. Possibly one of these four burials? [This site may be a duplication of TR 36 NE 32]
