Full Description

In 2002 the Swale and Thames Archaeological Survey Company carried out an evaluation on land adjacent to Calico House in Newnham. Five trenches were excavated and one encountered a pit. (1) Nine sherds of Shelley ware pottery were recovered and were dated to the early 13th century. (2)
