Full Description

An evaluation carried out by the Canterbury Archaeological Trust in 2006 found a pit. It was at least 1.27m across east-west and 0.37m north-south. It was 0.37m deep. A single pot sherd was found in the fill, part of an early medieval cooking pot dated to AD 1050-1225.
