Full Description

TR 37686989. Cropmark of enclosure. (1-3) (TR) 377698. Cropmark of a circular enclosure with internal features.Barrow? IA farmstead? On farmland close to the footpath (Broadley Road). (4) A large ring ditch is situated at TR 3765 6988, a pit at TR 3764 6992 and a macula cropmark can be seen at TR 3765 6988. (5)

An enclosure, of possible Iron Age date, is formed by a circuit of ditch and is visible as a cropmark on CUCAP WT86 16-JUN-1959. There is an entrance on the north-west side. The feature was mapped as part of the Thanet Landscape Mapping Project. (3)
