Full Description
A possible part of an enclosure, visible as a cropmark, south of Petham.
It consists of a 2m-wide ditch running NW-SE for 28m, then a rounded corner and running roughly SE for 12m, then a gap of 6m, then a further 10m of ditch (on the same NE-SW alignment). This possibly represents the NE corner of a rectilinear enclosure. There is a circular cropmark, 3.5m in diameter, to the north of the cropmarks, possibly a large pit?
Similar cropmarks are seen 175m to the NE and 160m to the south - TR 15 SW 171 and TR 15 SW 172.
