Full Description

TR 36736930. Cropmark of possible barrow. (1) RCHME AP shows a large single-ditched ring ditch at TR 3671 6929, part of a small ring ditch at TR 3672 6929 and a possible large pit at TR 3673 6931. (2)

Cropmarks of a slightly oval ring ditch with a diameter of c.15m at TR 3677 6929. The ring ditch may be the remains of a Bronze Age barrow which has been mapped from aerial photographs: NMR 2116/0096 01-JUN-1982 as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. It is not clear which of the scattered pits seen as cropmarks in this field are referred to above.(3)
