Full Description
In 2010 a geophysical survey was undertaken by Mouchel Limited for a proposed pipeline between Tonbridge and Godstone. The results revealed a semi circular feature and several possible pits and linear features. (1)
In 2011 an evaluation was carried out in advance of the same proposed pipeline, by Wessex Archaeology. Trench 5 was located to address a geophysical anomaly and found a large pit. No finds were recovered and therefore it was not datable. (2)
