Full Description
In 1993 an evaluation was done of the A253 by Trust for Thanet Archaeology west of Minster. Six ditches or possible ditches were identified. One was identified running on a north south alignment and it was a similar case in trench B. In trench C it was plough truncated but ran on the same alignment as the previous but apparently filled with broken flints. The ditch for trench D was on a different alignment, east - west, and contained Romano-British pottery as well as a skeleton of either a dog or a fox, it was the same case for the ditch in trench F.
