Full Description
A possible Saxon cemetery around possible Bronze Age barrows, visible as cropmarks, to the west of Acol.
Two ring ditches, measuring c.26m and c.45m in diameter, visible in the 1990 and 2008 APs and the 2009 Google Earth image. On the cropmarks layer (1976 APs ??) there are c.50 grave-shaped featuers around and over the ring ditches, suggesting a Saxon cemetery om the site of Bronze Age barrow(s).
