Full Description
Mounds, probably a saltmounds, and associated banks, possibly evaporation channels. Some still visible on 2016 aerial photographs. (1)
Some of the earthwork remains may alternatively be of oval mounds thought to be 19th century or earlier stock refuge mounds, many of which were constructed on low-lying pasture within the marshlands of the Hoo Peninsula and the margins of the Thames Estuary (2, 6, 7)
