1 staple/goalpost, enclosure was identified during the analysis of features recorded on aerial photographs of an area just to the south of Acol. Site identified during transcription of features recorded on air photographs. (1) RCHME AP shows 1 staple enclosure. Located at TR 3052 6680. (2)

A rectilinear enclosure forming part of a settlement of Medieval date was visible as a cropmark in HEA 29752/4 29-JUN-2015. The feature is later visible as a cropmark on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. It appears to have fronted onto Plumstone Road. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (3-4)
