Full Description

In 2010 the route of the Ashford Southern Ring Main was investigated by Kent Archaeological Projects. In Area 3 of the route, a fire pit and a ditch were found. These dated to the Late Iron Age/early Roman period. Additionally, a deposit of undefined form or nature produced six fresh sherds of Iron Age date. (1)
